FAQ

What are the customer supervision obligations?

The customer must ensure that adult supervision of guests is available at all times to ensure safety guidelines are being followed.

Are there additional charges for setup and takedown?

Setup and takedown are included in the price assuming the customer is available to supply 1-3 people (depending on the bouncy) to assist. Additional costs will be added if assistance needs to be supplied.

How long does setup and take down take?

Setup takes between 15 and 45 minutes, depending on the type of inflatable and available help. Takedown is usually comparable.

Do I need to supply power?

All inflatables require the use of 1 or more standard 120V outlets with one dedicated breaker per blower. The breaker should have nothing else in use plugged in.

How close to the outlet does the inflatable need to be?

An extension cord to the blower can be at most 100' in length. If that is not possible then Parker Parties has 2000W generators available for rent; good enough to supply power to one blower.

Can I put up an inflatable in my backyard or can it go up in a park?

Inflatables can go pretty much anywhere you have sufficient and suitable space (dimensions are included with the inflatable descriptions) and permission from the land/building owner.

Does Parker Parties require a deposit for bookings?

No deposit is required. We do ask that notice is given of cancellations prior to the morning of the event.

What forms of payment does Parker Parties accept?

We accept cash and business cheques. Due to the cost of credit card fees, we no longer accept credit cards. We unfortunately are no longer able to accept personal cheques.

What weather policies are in place?

The morning of the party we determine if the inflatables can be inflated (depending on temperature, wind etc). If winds pick up during the party (above 40km/hr - gusts included), the inflatable will need to be deflated until the winds die down (if there is no wind protection). Temperatures also need to be above +10C.

What kind of surfaces are suitable for the inflatables? (grass, asphalt, concrete etc.)

Gravel is not approved as it causes too much damage to the inflatables. Tarps do not help.
Hard Surfaces are important for us to be aware of so that we can bring a suitable amount of sandbags and anchors, especially for the taller inflatables.
Most other surfaces should be okay but we will need to discuss them before hand. Knowing the surface material is important so that we come prepared.

Can I use water on/ with the bouncy?

Only the 4-in-1s and the Waterslide have optional allowance for water usage. This applies to the Waterslide portion of the bouncy only! There is an additional charge to reflect the drying time for the bouncy.
